There were many challenges but God proved Himself as being the all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present and loving God we usually talk about. During our three and a half days of ministry, our team had 67 home visits and participated in five worship services. God touched our lives and the lives of the people. Eighty four people prayed to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. Our time in Viana, Brazil has reinforced God's call on the life of our church. We are to be a Great Commission church. Our neighborhoods, places of employment, places of recreation, and homes should know of our love and faith in Jesus.

     Each service, I started off by saying, "We have come 6,000 miles to tell you one thing and that is 'Jesus te ama!' Jesus loves you, all of you." The message is the same for the people God has placed in our lives here at home. We may not have to travel as many miles to tell them, but the importance of the message is no less. Jesus does love everyone and He wants to have a relationship with each one. What kind of witness are you for the Kingdom?

      "You will receive the power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8) What a great promise and challenge of Jesus! Believe the promise and accept the challenge!
